Bank ABC has been recognized at Temenos Community Forum 2026 after receiving the Temenos Forward Award for achievements in core banking transformation and digital innovation. The recognition highlights the bank’s modernization efforts, which were delivered in partnership with Systems Limited through the implementation of Temenos core banking technology using a cloud native architecture powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS). The award acknowledges the institution’s progress in strengthening its digital banking capabilities and improving operational agility through advanced banking infrastructure.
The implementation was carried out by Systems Limited using the Temenos Country Model Bank framework, which enabled Bank ABC to transition its core banking environment onto Temenos technology while leveraging AWS cloud services for scalability and performance. According to the announcement, the transformation aimed to modernize the bank’s operational systems and establish a stronger digital foundation capable of supporting faster product development and improved service delivery. The project focused on enabling seamless integration across banking services while creating an infrastructure designed to support future expansion and innovation in financial services.
As part of the transformation, Bank ABC enhanced its ability to introduce new products more efficiently while improving customer engagement through a more connected digital ecosystem. The migration to a cloud native architecture allowed the bank to scale operations according to evolving customer and business demands, helping create a flexible framework for continued modernization. The implementation also reinforced the position of ila Bank, Bank ABC’s digital banking platform, as a digital first banking institution in the region by strengthening the technological foundation supporting its services and customer experience initiatives.
