SI Global Solutions (Pvt) Ltd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with China based Jovision Technology Co., Ltd. to strengthen Safe City initiatives and maritime safety infrastructure across Pakistan. The agreement brings together SI Global Solutions, a maritime solutions provider and ICT system integrator with expertise in Safe City consultancy, and Jovision, a global provider of intelligent video surveillance technologies headquartered in Jinan, China. Through the partnership, both companies aim to introduce artificial intelligence driven CCTV technologies and advanced marine equipment to support public safety, urban security and maritime operations in Pakistan. SI Global Solutions, which has offices in the United States, United Arab Emirates and across Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi, said the collaboration reflects its commitment to bringing global engineering practices, smart technologies and AI based solutions to the country.
Under the agreement, SI Global Solutions will serve as the exclusive partner for Jovision in Pakistan for the deployment of AI powered surveillance technologies in Safe City projects. The collaboration will focus on intelligent CCTV systems, cloud based video analytics, full color night vision capabilities and integrated command and control platforms designed to enhance urban monitoring and support crime prevention initiatives. The partnership is intended to strengthen the technological capabilities of Safe City projects by enabling authorities to benefit from advanced surveillance tools and data driven monitoring systems. By combining AI technologies with modern video surveillance solutions, the companies aim to support more efficient security operations while improving the management of public safety infrastructure across different regions of Pakistan.
The collaboration also extends to the maritime sector, where SI Global Solutions has procured advanced polyurethane buoys from China for deployment at Pakistani ports. According to the company, it is the first organization to introduce polyurethane buoys in Pakistan. The buoys are designed to provide longer operational life, lower maintenance requirements and improved resistance to challenging marine and weather conditions. The initiative also includes the sourcing of International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities compliant marine equipment to improve navigation safety and operational efficiency at ports and harbors. SI Global Solutions stated that the adoption of advanced maritime technologies reflects its continued focus on supporting the modernization of Pakistan maritime infrastructure through internationally recognized engineering standards and innovative solutions.
The partnership follows a recent visit to China by a delegation of Safe City and maritime experts from SI Global Solutions led by Commander Retired Liaquat Ali PN. During the visit, the delegation participated in technical discussions and product demonstrations that paved the way for the agreement with Jovision and the procurement of advanced marine equipment. Commenting on the collaboration, Dr. Noman Ahmed Said, Chief Executive Officer of SI Global Solutions, said the company is pleased to partner with Jovision and Sunhelm, noting that the organizations share a common vision for safer cities and smarter ports. He added that the collaboration reflects SI Global Solutions commitment to quality, innovation and global standards while supporting the safety and security of Pakistan urban centers and maritime infrastructure through advanced technology solutions.
