Muhaj Baghdad, also known as Emaar Steel, has successfully launched SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition as part of its ongoing digital transformation journey, strengthening its technology foundation to support operational efficiency and smarter business management. The implementation was carried out through collaboration between Muhaj Baghdad, SAP, and Business Line Iraq, marking an important step for one of Iraq’s leading steel manufacturers as it adopts a connected enterprise resource planning platform.
With the deployment of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, Muhaj Baghdad has gained access to a digital platform designed to streamline business processes, improve operational visibility, and support data driven decision making. The cloud based solution provides organizations with integrated tools to manage different business functions through a unified environment, helping enterprises enhance productivity and create more efficient workflows. The implementation reflects the growing adoption of cloud based enterprise solutions among industrial organizations seeking to modernize their operations and improve their ability to respond to changing business requirements. The successful go live was marked through a ceremony attended by senior representatives from Muhaj Baghdad, SAP, and Business Line. Participants included Abbas Abid Hashim, Managing Director of Muhaj Baghdad; Sherif Yousri, Chief Financial Officer; Dr. Hasan Najeem, Deputy Managing Director; Yashar Mostafa, General Manager; Abhishek Sinha, Project Manager; Sushil Srivastwa, IT System Lead; Atta Mohammed, Mechanical Engineer; Dhavel Patel, Mechanical Manager; Abdul Jabbar, Civil Project Manager; Ahmed Elshorpagy, Accountant; and Al-Saied, Accountant. Representatives from Business Line included Ali Mustafa, Executive Director and Country Head Iraq; Omer Zahid Samad, Vice President; and Mohammed Jameel Kamoona, Key Account Manager. The event highlighted the collaborative efforts of teams involved in planning, implementing, and operationalising the SAP platform for Muhaj Baghdad.
