Pakistani Tech Expert Fahim Siddiqui Appointed as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at The Home Depot in the US

The Home Depot, the largest home improvement corporation in the United States, has made significant management changes by appointing Pakistani tech expert Fahim Siddiqui as Chief Information Officer. Siddiqui, who joined the company as Senior Vice President of Information Technology in 2018, will now oversee The Home Depot’s IT strategy, infrastructure, and software development across its retail locations, supply chain hubs, store support centers, and online platforms.

Before joining The Home Depot, Siddiqui spent over three decades overseeing software development in the retail, energy, and telecom industries, working with prominent companies like Staples, MCI, Time Warner Telecom, and Sprint.

“Fahim is a tremendous leader and a brilliant technologist who understands the power of technology to unlock a better experience for our customers and associates, and I look forward to working with him in this next phase of growth for The Home Depot,” said Ted Decker, CEO, and President of The Home Depot.

As of the end of the fiscal year 2021, The Home Depot operated 2,317 retail locations across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, ten Canadian provinces, and Mexico, employing approximately 500,000 associates.
