The CIO Leadership Conference is a symposium where influential people of various industries are meant to gather and share innovative ideas for overcoming challenges therefore, paving the way for mutual growth. Maj. Gen. (Retd) Shahzada Alam Malik, Chairman, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority inaugurated the conference, on 15th May 2008, at the Karachi Marriott Hotel.
The International CIO Leadership Conference was for the first time held in conjunction with CONNECT 2008. It featured four exclusive sessions conducted by the CIOs, CSOs, CMOs and CEOs of the corporate sector. The conference provided an excellent networking platform for the participants and was well attended by high profile industry professionals, decision makers, Government officials from IT and Telecommunication sector.
On the other hand, Perspective Roundtable was designed to give top tier managements of various organizations a means for information sharing and industry development. The Roundtable gave the executives a chance to network and discussed what is going on in the industry and their organizations giving them an opportunity to share their experiences.
