In a move that promises to reshape the regional IT landscape, Pakistani tech leader Systems Limited has finalized the acquisition of National Data Consultant (NdcTech). The deal, which includes NdcTech’s subsidiaries in the UAE and Singapore, solidifies Systems Limited’s position as a major player in the digital banking solutions market.
NdcTech, a renowned provider of core and digital banking solutions, boasts a strong partnership with Temenos, a leading banking software company. This partnership allows NdcTech to empower major banks across Pakistan, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region.
Systems Limited, established in 1977, is Pakistan’s first software services company and a prominent global IT player. The acquisition is considered a significant step for both companies, and is expected to be finalized after receiving regulatory approvals in the coming weeks.
Combined Expertise to Revolutionize Banking IT Services
This strategic move positions Systems Limited to offer a comprehensive suite of IT consulting services specifically tailored for the banking sector. By combining their expertise, both companies aim to revolutionize the IT services available to banks.
According to Systems Limited CEO and Managing Director Asif Peer, this acquisition marks the “first significant M&A transaction in the IT industry of Pakistan” and will propel Systems Limited to become “the world’s foremost banking technology consulting firm.”
Independent Operations, Shared Vision
Following the acquisition, NdcTech will continue to function as a separate entity, operating as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Systems Limited. Ammara Masood will remain at the helm as NdcTech’s CEO.
Both Systems Limited and NdcTech are driven by a shared mission to deliver exceptional results for their clients, partners, and employees. This acquisition fosters a unique company culture focused on continuous innovation and excellence in digital transformation.
