Green Peak International has entered into a Product Collaboration Agreement with wAI Industries to develop Artificial Intelligence powered solutions aimed at supporting relationship managers in Pakistan’s banking sector. Signed on June 6, the collaboration marks the beginning of Green Peak International’s dedicated AI vertical, branded as GPI /code/, with an initial focus on addressing operational and customer engagement challenges faced by relationship managers across retail banking environments. The initiative seeks to improve how banking professionals interact with customers by introducing technology designed specifically around the day to day realities of Pakistan’s banking industry.
According to the announcement, the partnership is based on the view that relationship managers in Pakistan’s banks are often managing large customer portfolios while operating with fragmented information and limited tools to develop deeper customer understanding. Industry challenges such as reduced problem solving capacity, lower trust, declining business volumes, and limited share of wallet are increasingly linked to technological constraints rather than workforce capability. Green Peak International stated that the objective is not to replace relationship managers, but to equip them with smarter tools capable of helping them better understand customer needs, identify challenges, and provide more meaningful engagement. The companies believe that stronger customer relationships supported by technology can contribute to improved trust, better banking experiences, and stronger business performance.
As part of the collaboration, Green Peak International and wAI Industries will jointly develop a product specifically designed for relationship managers, built around customer understanding and personalized service delivery. The product will operate under GPI /code/ and is expected to leverage the technological expertise of wAI Industries, the team behind Alara, an enterprise AI platform already deployed across leading banks in Pakistan. By combining enterprise AI capabilities with sector specific banking experience, the initiative aims to create practical tools aligned with the operational needs of retail banking professionals. The organizations emphasized that the platform is intended to help relationship managers gain deeper customer insights and respond more effectively to evolving customer expectations within increasingly competitive financial environments.
Green Peak International highlighted its longstanding familiarity with Pakistan’s banking ecosystem, stating that the initiative draws upon decades of industry experience to create products built for practical implementation rather than generic technology adoption. The collaboration also reflects growing momentum within Pakistan’s financial sector around Artificial Intelligence adoption, particularly in areas related to customer engagement, decision support, and operational efficiency.
