ExD Completes SAP S4HANA Transformation For CHT Pakistan In Seven Months

Published:

ExD has announced the successful completion of a RISE with SAP S/4HANA transformation for CHT Pakistan (Private) Limited, delivering the project within seven months. The implementation was designed to help the company modernize its enterprise resource planning environment by connecting critical business processes and supporting future business growth. According to ExD, the transformation extended beyond a standard SAP deployment, combining a global SAP template with local business requirements to create a solution tailored to CHT Pakistan’s operations.

As CHT Pakistan expanded its operations, the company required an ERP platform capable of supporting more than routine business activities. The new SAP S/4HANA environment was implemented to integrate Finance, Procurement, Sales, Inventory, Production Planning, and Quality Management into a connected system while providing a stronger foundation for future expansion. The project also required the rollout of a global SAP template, which involved aligning the implementation with global business processes, standards, and best practices while adapting the solution to meet CHT Pakistan’s specific operational needs. One of the notable aspects of the implementation was the deployment of a Digital Cooking Sheet, a specialized solution that ExD said remains distinctive even among comparable SAP projects worldwide. The transformation also included SAP Bank Communication Management, enabling automated vendor payments and improving communication between the SAP platform and banking systems.

ExD stated that its role as Pakistan’s only SAP Platinum Partner enabled it to deliver the technical expertise and implementation discipline required for a project of this scale. The company worked closely with CHT Pakistan throughout planning, configuration, training, and the go live phase to ensure that the SAP environment reflected the organization’s operational requirements. Completing the project within seven months required coordinated project management, process understanding, and collaboration while maintaining business continuity during the implementation. ExD noted that the timeline represented not only technical execution but also careful alignment between technology deployment and ongoing business operations to minimize disruption while supporting organizational objectives.

The completed transformation provides CHT Pakistan with an integrated SAP foundation intended to support the continued evolution of its business processes and operations. By connecting key business functions through a unified SAP S/4HANA platform, the implementation aims to improve operational efficiency while preparing the organization for future requirements. ExD has also shared an earlier testimonial from the CHT Pakistan team describing its experience of working with the company during the implementation process, available at here. The project highlights the growing adoption of enterprise transformation initiatives in Pakistan as organizations continue investing in modern ERP platforms to improve operational integration, financial processes, production management, and long term business scalability.
