Tahaluf Al Emarat, a UAE-based digital transformation and cybersecurity company, has signed a strategic partnership with Dell Technologies to advance artificial intelligence-powered solutions for smart cities and public safety services across the UAE. The agreement was announced during the recent AI Everything event in Abu Dhabi, bringing together the capabilities of two technology organizations focused on supporting smarter urban environments through advanced digital solutions.
Under the partnership, Tahaluf Al Emarat and Dell Technologies will collaborate on developing AI-driven technologies designed to help public sector organizations improve urban services, enhance public safety operations and respond more efficiently to the evolving needs of residents and visitors. The initiative aligns with the UAE’s ongoing efforts to adopt emerging technologies and strengthen connected infrastructure through artificial intelligence, data analytics and digital transformation initiatives. The collaboration will combine Dell Technologies’ AI and edge computing capabilities with Tahaluf Al Emarat’s in-vehicle technology platform to support onboard processing and operational data workflows. By enabling AI capabilities closer to where data is generated, organizations can gain faster visibility into urban conditions and make more informed decisions without relying entirely on continuous cloud connectivity. The approach can support several areas, including infrastructure monitoring, parking management, road condition assessments and public safety operations.
Through these AI-enabled solutions, service providers and government organizations can collect and analyze information from large urban areas more effectively. The technology can assist in identifying road and infrastructure concerns, monitoring parking-related issues and supporting quicker responses to public safety events. By processing information closer to the source, cities can improve operational efficiency while creating more responsive and connected experiences for communities.
Walid Yehia, Managing Director, South Gulf at Dell Technologies, said artificial intelligence is creating new opportunities for cities to become more responsive to the people and communities they serve. He highlighted that the collaboration with Tahaluf Al Emarat aims to introduce intelligent capabilities into everyday urban environments, helping organizations identify issues earlier, make informed decisions and improve the services relied upon by residents. H.E. Dr. Ahmed Musabbeh Al Kaabi, Chief Executive Officer of Tahaluf, said the collaboration with Dell Technologies focuses on transforming everyday journeys into actionable insights that can support improved city management. He explained that combining AI technologies with existing fleet vehicles can provide service providers with greater visibility across communities and help them respond more effectively to infrastructure, parking and public safety requirements.
The partnership reflects the growing role of AI, edge computing and connected technologies in shaping the future of urban development. As cities continue to adopt digital solutions, collaborations between technology providers and innovation-focused companies are expected to support more efficient public services, improved operational decision-making and enhanced urban experiences. Through this agreement, Tahaluf Al Emarat and Dell Technologies aim to contribute to the UAE’s vision of developing smarter, safer and more connected cities.
