Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDC) has completed a two day Cognitive AI Workshop aimed at strengthening artificial intelligence capabilities across its workforce. The programme brought together the organization’s leadership team and employees from different departments for hands on training designed to build AI knowledge, develop enterprise skills, and encourage responsible adoption of emerging technologies. The workshop was conducted in collaboration with Blockverse, in partnership with Panaversity, at Ashrei Tech Academy located within National Aerospace Science and Technology Park (NASTP).
The training focused on practical applications of artificial intelligence within enterprise environments, enabling participants to move beyond theoretical discussions and work directly with AI tools and frameworks. According to CDC, attendees explored the Claude Stack from end to end while gaining experience in developing Digital Full Time Employees designed to support business operations. The sessions also covered AI governance principles, enterprise governance frameworks, and methods for integrating artificial intelligence into organizational processes in a structured and responsible manner. By involving senior leadership alongside cross functional teams, the workshop encouraged collaboration between different business units and provided participants with opportunities to transform strategic concepts into practical solutions that can support operational efficiency. The initiative reflects the growing interest among Pakistani enterprises in equipping employees with technical skills that align with evolving workplace requirements while maintaining governance and accountability in AI adoption.
CDC stated that building an AI powered workforce extends beyond executive level planning and requires a broader cultural transformation involving employees across the organization. The company noted that the workshop encouraged participants to experiment with practical AI applications while developing reusable skills that can be applied in future projects. Working sessions included the creation of prototype solutions that demonstrate how artificial intelligence can assist business functions while remaining aligned with governance standards and organizational objectives.
