Microsoft organized a workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication on Wednesday, aimed at raising awareness about AI’s applications in daily operations and its pivotal role in government affairs.
Led by Jibran Jamshad, Country Education Lead at Microsoft Pakistan, the workshop was attended by senior bureaucrats and executives from the Ministry and its affiliated departments. Among the attendees were Secretary IT Captain (Retd) Muhammad Mahmood, Additional Secretary Aisha Humera Moriani, Member IT Syed Junaid Imam, and Member Telecom Muhammad Jahanzeb Rahim.
Jamshad delivered a comprehensive presentation outlining the current uses of AI, along with potential future challenges associated with its implementation. Key topics included the responsible deployment of AI, development of AI skills, and the adoption of AI solutions.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, allowing participants to delve deeper into AI-related queries and concerns.
