Wateen Telecom and Riphah University Forge Digital Connectivity Partnership

Wateen Telecom, a prominent ICT company in Pakistan, has recently forged a strategic alliance with Riphah International University, a leading educational institution in the country. The partnership entails Wateen providing Managed WAN services and Campus Wi-Fi 6 Connectivity services, leveraging cutting-edge technology from H3C, a global digital solution provider.

The collaboration was officially inaugurated through a signing ceremony held in Islamabad, featuring key figures such as Hassan Muhammad Khan, the Chancellor of Riphah International University, and Adil Rashid, the CEO of Wateen Telecom Limited.

Sarfraz Ahmed Haroon, the Director of IT at Riphah International University, Omar Swati, VP Commercial at Wateen, and Brig. Khalid Hassan Butt (Retd), Deputy Managing Director of H3C Technologies Pakistan, was also present at the ceremony.

The robust network infrastructure solution deployed by Wateen ensures seamless connectivity and Wi-Fi access for the entire faculty, administration, and student body across 12 campuses in different cities of Pakistan. This initiative aims to enhance the overall learning and teaching experience at Riphah International University.

Chancellor Hassan Muhammad Khan expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating,

Adil Rashid, CEO of Wateen, emphasized the company’s commitment to driving digital enablement in Pakistan’s education sector. He stated,

Brig. Khalid Hassan Butt (Retd) of H3C Technologies Pakistan shared a broader perspective, stating,
