US based automotive technology company AutoAcquire AI has acquired Pakistani conversational artificial intelligence startup Virtuans AI in a seven figure deal comprising a combination of cash and equity, marking a notable development for Pakistan’s growing AI sector.
Founded by Pakistani entrepreneurs Raheel Ahmad and Muddassar Sharif, Virtuans AI launched less than two years ago with a focus on building autonomous conversational agents designed to handle sales and customer support functions for businesses. The acquisition underscores the increasing global visibility of AI innovation emerging from Pakistan. As part of the agreement, both founders have been appointed to leadership positions at AutoAcquire AI, integrating their expertise directly into the acquiring company’s strategic direction. According to a statement, the transaction reflects the calibre of artificial intelligence capabilities being developed locally and signals rising international confidence in Pakistani founded technology ventures.
Virtuans AI built its platform around the concept of agentic AI systems capable of understanding context, learning from user interactions, and delivering outcomes comparable to or exceeding human performance. “We built Virtuans with the belief that AI agents should not just respond to queries, but truly understand context, learn from interactions, and deliver outcomes that match or exceed human performance,” said Muddassar Sharif, co founder of Virtuans AI. He added that the acquisition validates this vision and creates an opportunity to deploy the technology at scale within one of the largest markets in the United States. Raheel Ahmad, co founder of Virtuans AI, described the deal as a strong signal that Pakistani AI talent can develop world class technology, attract US based acquirers, and assume leadership roles within global technology firms.
AutoAcquire AI is led by Anthony Monteiro, an industry veteran in automotive software, and focuses on transforming how dealerships across the United States acquire vehicles. The company aims to unify targeting, offers, inspections, logistics, and fraud protection into a single AI driven platform tailored for the automotive sector. “Virtuans has built an impressive foundation in intelligent automation and AI agent development,” said Monteiro. “By bringing their expertise into AutoAcquire AI, we are expanding our ability to deliver agentic AI solutions that can operate proactively, communicate naturally, and drive real outcomes for dealers looking to scale acquisition efficiently.” The integration of Virtuans’ technology places its AI agents at the center of AutoAcquire’s strategy to address the estimated 1 trillion dollar US used car market.
Beyond the commercial transaction, Virtuans stated that the acquisition represents broader international recognition of Pakistan’s artificial intelligence capabilities. While Pakistani software professionals have long contributed to multinational technology firms, this development highlights the ability of local founders to build proprietary platforms that attract established American buyers. For a country working to strengthen its position as a technology innovation hub, the deal demonstrates that startups originating in Pakistan can compete in advanced AI segments and secure strategic exits in global markets.
