United Bank Limited Enhances Security with Zero Trust Workshop

Published:

Karachi, Pakistan – United Bank Limited (UBL) recently took a significant step towards strengthening its cybersecurity posture by participating in a two-day workshop on “Zero Trust Security Implementation for the Hybrid Enterprise,” conducted by Techlink Communications (TLC) on May 8th, 2024.

The workshop, led by industry expert Adnan Ikram, provided UBL’s team with valuable insights into implementing a Zero Trust security strategy within a hybrid work environment. This approach prioritizes continuous verification and minimizes implicit trust, ensuring a more secure network for UBL’s operations and customer data.

“This workshop was an excellent opportunity to collaborate with some of UBL’s finest technology professionals,” said a TLC spokesperson. “We extend a special thanks to Awais Ejaz and Tauseef Aslam for their participation and for allowing us to share our expertise with UBL.”

The workshop delved into key Zero Trust concepts, including User Entity and Behavior Analytics (UEBA), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), and Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN). The curriculum also explored dynamic remediation workflows using technologies like Mobile Device Management (MDM), Identity and Access Management (IAM), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), UEBA, and Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR).

This workshop marks TLC’s first dedicated session on Zero Trust implementation for hybrid enterprises. The positive response has prompted them to schedule the next two-day in-person workshop on this topic for June 26th and 27th, 2024, in Karachi. For further information or registration inquiries, interested parties can contact TLC at info@tlcpak.com.
