UAF Leverages SAP S/4HANA for Digital Transformation in Education

University of Agriculture Faisalabad has taken a significant step towards digital transformation by implementing SAP S/4HANA with the help of TMC (TallyMarks Consulting), Pakistan’s largest SAP partner.

UAF, with over 27,000 students across its campuses, aims to create a unified administrative system with this new ERP system. This system will provide user-friendly access to financial, resource, and personnel data. Designed for efficient workflows and best practices, it will empower UAF to stay competitive in the global education landscape.

The implemented modules include ABAP & FIORI, BASIS, modules for finance, controlling, materials management, human capital management, and fleet management. While siloed data across departments presented a challenge, SAP’s Activate Methodology facilitated a smooth implementation process and ensured global best practices were followed.

The project’s “Go-Live” ceremony was graced by key stakeholders from UAF, including Vice Chancellor Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan, Treasurer Mr. Umar Saeed Qadri, and representatives from all faculties. TMC was represented by Managing Director Mr. Abdul Haseeb, Project Director Mr. Umar Mushtaq, and Project Manager Mr. Faisal Akram.

Vice Chancellor commended the collaborative effort and expressed confidence that the new system will propel UAF to the forefront of educational institutions.

According to Mr. Haseeb, the implementation will enhance operational efficiency, improve data management, and provide real-time insights for better decision-making, improved student outcomes, and an enhanced student experience. UAF’s leadership hopes this initiative will inspire other institutions to embrace digital transformation in the evolving educational landscape.

This partnership between UAF and TMC showcases the university’s commitment to educational innovation and staying ahead of the curve. By harnessing the power of technology and data, UAF can continue to push the boundaries of knowledge and develop interdisciplinary programs, ultimately serving the public through advancements in agriculture and rural development.
