Trend Micro Equips Pakistan Businesses with Modern Data Center Security Solutions

Published:

Trend Micro hosted a well-attended session titled “Modern Data Center Security” in Karachi, Pakistan. The event aimed to equip attendees with the knowledge and tools necessary to safeguard their data centers in the face of ever-evolving cyber threats.

The session delved into several key solutions offered by Trend Micro. Virtual Patch technology was presented as a faster and more efficient way to address vulnerabilities. Unlike traditional patching, Virtual Patch applies virtual solutions without requiring system reboots, minimizing downtime and disruption. Deep Security, another key solution, was highlighted as a comprehensive offering designed to protect physical, virtual, and cloud workloads from a broad spectrum of threats. CloudOne Security was also discussed, specifically addressing the need for robust security solutions tailored for cloud environments.

The discussion emphasized the importance of Cross-Layered Detection and Response (XDR) for achieving comprehensive threat visibility and mitigation. Attendees learned how XDR can provide a unified view of security data across various layers, enabling faster and more effective incident response. Attack Surface Risk Management (ASRM) was another key topic, with the session highlighting strategies for identifying and managing vulnerabilities across the entire attack surface of an organization’s IT infrastructure.

Looking towards the future, the session explored the concept of Zero Trust Secure Access (ZTSA). This security model minimizes implicit trust and continuously verifies access for all users and devices, enhancing overall security posture.  In addition to product demonstrations, the event offered information on Trend Micro’s certification tracks on both Zero Trust and XDR. These certifications provide valuable training for IT professionals seeking to enhance their cybersecurity expertise.

“We are grateful for the enthusiastic participation at our Modern Data Center Security session,” expressed a spokesperson for Trend Micro (name can be added if available). The spokesperson also extended special thanks to MUHAMMAD UMAIR SHEIKH, Director of Sales at Trend Micro Pakistan, for his leadership in making the event a success.

This event exemplifies Trend Micro’s commitment to empowering businesses in Pakistan. By providing knowledge and tools for securing data centers and protecting critical digital assets, Trend Micro is helping organizations build a more secure digital future.
