Systems Limited has announced the expansion of its operations in Egypt, reaffirming its commitment to supporting the country’s digital transformation initiatives and strengthening its position as a global technology and outsourcing destination. As part of this expansion, the company plans to further develop its Egypt operations with the goal of making its Egypt center the second largest worldwide after its headquarters in Pakistan. The announcement reflects Systems Limited’s continued international growth strategy while highlighting the increasing role of Egypt as an important regional technology hub for global delivery and digital services.
As part of the initiative, Systems Limited Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Asif Peer met with HE Eng. Raafat Hendy from Egypt’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) to discuss the company’s expansion plans and long term vision for its operations in the country. The meeting was attended by Eng. Ahmed Elzaher, Chief Executive Officer of Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), Khurram Majeed, General Manager of Systems Limited Middle East and Africa (Techvista), Ahmed Kandil, Country Manager of Systems Limited Egypt, and Eng. Mahmoud Sofrata, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of ITIDA. The discussions focused on strengthening collaboration between Systems Limited and Egyptian government organizations to support technology investment, talent development, and digital innovation.
Among the key topics discussed during the meeting was the company’s recently inaugurated headquarters in Smart Village, which will serve as an important operational center for its regional activities. Systems Limited also shared its plans to create more than 380 new technology jobs in Egypt, contributing to employment opportunities within the country’s growing information technology sector. Another major focus of the discussions was the company’s continued collaboration with ITIDA through initiatives such as the Training for Employment program. The program is intended to help develop the next generation of digital professionals by providing skills development opportunities that support the evolving needs of the technology industry. These efforts align with broader objectives of strengthening the local technology ecosystem while preparing skilled professionals for careers in digital services and outsourcing.
