Sky47 Expands Collaboration With Sindh Government On AI And Digital Infrastructure

Sky47 Limited has announced plans to strengthen its engagement with the Government of Sindh as it advances the next phase of Pakistan digital infrastructure landscape. The company recently participated in a meeting hosted by Sindh IT Company (SITC), bringing together representatives from both organizations to discuss strategic collaboration across technology initiatives in the province. The engagement focused on expanding cooperation in areas including artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure, and emerging technologies while supporting Sindh ongoing digital transformation efforts. The discussions also reflected a shared commitment to enhancing technology adoption and building stronger digital infrastructure to support innovation across the province.

The meeting was attended by Hassan Abbas, Chief Executive Officer of Sky47, and Ashar Irshad, Director Marketing and Sales at Sky47. Representing the Government of Sindh and SITC were Ali Rashid, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister and Minister for Science and Information Technology for Sindh, along with Zainulabedin Shah, Chief Executive Officer of Sindh IT Company. During the engagement, both sides explored opportunities for collaboration on technology projects that can contribute to the province expanding digital ecosystem. Discussions covered initiatives related to artificial intelligence, cloud computing infrastructure, and emerging technologies that can help strengthen public and private sector digital capabilities. The meeting also highlighted the importance of collaboration between government institutions and technology companies in supporting infrastructure development and encouraging innovation across different sectors.

A key topic of discussion was the development of Indus 01, Sky47 next generation data center campus currently being established in Karachi. According to the company, Sindh IT Company extended its full facilitation and support as Sky47 expands its presence in the province alongside the development of the new facility. The project forms part of the company broader strategy to strengthen Pakistan digital infrastructure by providing advanced data center capabilities designed to support cloud services, artificial intelligence workloads, and enterprise technology requirements. The discussions emphasized how modern digital infrastructure can enable organizations to deploy advanced technologies while improving connectivity, scalability, and operational efficiency. The collaboration also reflects ongoing efforts to support the province growing technology ecosystem through investments in infrastructure and innovation focused initiatives.

Sky47 stated that the engagement represents a shared ambition to accelerate technology adoption while strengthening digital infrastructure and supporting the expansion of Sindh artificial intelligence and innovation ecosystem. Sky47 also highlighted the progress of its infrastructure initiatives, noting that Karakoram 01 is operational while development of the Indus 01 data center campus continues in Karachi.
