Sky47 Limited, Awan Distribution and Citrix ASEAN & South Asia have announced a strategic collaboration that positions Sky47 as Pakistan’s first Citrix Managed Service Provider (MSP) through the Awan Distribution platform. Announced on October 14, 2026, in Karachi, the development marks an important step towards expanding access to Citrix-powered managed services and enterprise technology solutions in Pakistan. The partnership aims to strengthen the local managed services ecosystem while supporting growing business requirements for secure, scalable and future-ready digital infrastructure. Through this collaboration, the three organizations intend to combine their capabilities to help enterprises modernize IT environments, improve operational efficiency and adopt technology solutions suited to evolving digital requirements. The milestone also reflects a shared commitment to advancing enterprise technology adoption, developing channel opportunities and supporting secure digital transformation across the country.
The collaboration was formalized through the signing of two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), bringing together representatives from Sky47, Awan Distribution and Citrix. The first MoU was signed by Hassan A., Chief Executive Officer of Sky47 Limited, and Rizwan Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer of Awan Distribution, in the presence of and with the endorsement of the Citrix ASEAN team. The second MoU was signed by Simon Ng, Director Channels, Citrix ASEAN & South Asia, and Ali Raza, Head of Partnerships at Sky47. The agreements establish a framework for cooperation around managed services and the delivery of selected Citrix technologies. The signings represent a formal step in strengthening the relationship between the organizations and creating opportunities to expand enterprise service offerings through the local distribution and partner ecosystem. By bringing together the expertise and resources of the participating companies, the partnership seeks to support businesses looking for managed technology services and enterprise solutions in Pakistan.
The collaboration covers four key service areas: Desktop as a Service (DaaS), Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB) as a Service, Load Balancing (LB) as a Service and AI Web Application Firewall (AI WAF) as a Service. These offerings form the technology focus of the partnership and are intended to broaden the range of Citrix-powered services available to organizations through Sky47 and Awan Distribution. The service portfolio addresses different enterprise technology requirements, including digital workspace delivery, traffic distribution and application availability, as well as web application protection. Through the managed services model, the organizations aim to make these capabilities more accessible to businesses while supporting their efforts to develop secure and scalable IT environments. The partnership also creates opportunities for channel development and wider technology adoption by connecting Citrix solutions with local market capabilities. Its focus on managed services reflects an approach in which businesses can access enterprise technology capabilities through service-based offerings rather than managing every component of the underlying technology independently.
Sky47, Awan Distribution and Citrix ASEAN & South Asia described the partnership as a shared effort to advance digital possibilities through collaboration, innovation and secure technology solutions. The announcement was also associated with a wider group of representatives from the participating organizations, including Essam Baghdady, Rizwan Ahmed, Syed Ahmed, Babar S., Najeeb Rehman, Kashif Ahmed Saeed, Khawaja Mubashir Ahmed and Kumail Abbas, alongside Citrix representatives Simon Ng, Thompson H., Raymond Chew, Howard Tan and Moses Yeo. Sky47 representatives included Hassan A., Ali Raza, Saad Masood, Tauseef Aslam, Raheel Jilani and Muhammad Aneeq Abid. The organizations said the initiative is intended to help businesses respond to an increasingly connected and technology-driven environment through intelligent, secure and scalable solutions. With Sky47 becoming Pakistan’s first Citrix MSP through the Awan Distribution platform, the agreement establishes a new route for delivering Citrix-powered managed services in the local market and reinforces the importance of collaboration between technology providers, distributors and service partners in supporting Pakistan’s digital ecosystem.
