SignSplit Science And wAI Advance Industries Sign Memorandum Of Understanding On AI Dataset Protection And Web3 Data Commercialization

Published:

SignSplit Science and wAI Advance Industries have announced a strategic partnership through a newly signed Memorandum of Understanding aimed at reshaping how scientific datasets are treated in the age of artificial intelligence. The agreement focuses on enabling universities, research organizations, and innovation bodies to recognize datasets not only as research outputs but also as valuable intellectual property assets that can be used for AI training systems and agent based technologies. Both companies intend to support a structured approach where scientific data is identified, protected, and prepared for integration into modern AI driven environments without changing its academic and research integrity.

SignSplit Science, which is developing Web3 infrastructure to transform scientific data into verified and tradable digital assets, will bring its expertise in decentralized data ownership and tokenization frameworks to the collaboration. The company has been working on systems designed to allow research datasets to be registered, verified, and managed as digital assets while preserving ownership rights for institutions and researchers. On the other side, wAI Advance Industries focuses on enterprise level AI systems that power agentic swarms used across sectors such as finance, logistics, and operational automation. Through this partnership, both organizations aim to connect structured scientific datasets with advanced AI architectures that rely heavily on high quality training data and contextual information.

Under the agreement, both companies will collaborate on multiple initiatives designed to build capacity and awareness in the research community. These include educational programs for researchers and institutions that will focus on identifying datasets with commercial and academic value, understanding frameworks for protecting data rights, and exploring monetization pathways in AI ecosystems. In addition, the partnership will include the development of thought leadership programs that examine how AI models and autonomous agents access, process, and utilize scientific data across different industries. Another core area of collaboration will be technology solutions that support rights management, licensing structures, and commercialization mechanisms for research data when used in AI applications, helping institutions establish clearer control over how their datasets are applied in external systems.

Leadership from both organizations emphasized the strategic alignment behind the collaboration. wAI Chairman Ahsan Mashkoor stated that the partnership supports wAI’s broader commitment to advancing AI research and expanding access to structured scientific data for model training purposes. wAI CEO Abu Abdullah Ashar Naeem highlighted the company’s recent initiative launching Pakistan’s first public private AI research fellowship, supported by Pakistan’s Prime Minister’s Office and Stanford University, where participating researchers are actively generating datasets intended for future AI development and applied research systems. From SignSplit Science, CEO Gleb Denisov noted that the collaboration strengthens the company’s global AI ecosystem following its earlier partnership with the UAE Blockchain and AI Association, adding that institutions across Pakistan, the Middle East, and other regions are increasingly recognizing the importance of treating research data as structured intellectual property. Co founder Jimmy Nguyen further stated that scientific data globally has significant untapped value as an asset class and that the partnership with wAI will help advance blockchain enabled systems for data protection, verification, and commercialization, particularly in environments where AI systems are becoming central to research and enterprise operations.
