Raqami Islamic Digital Bank Limited has taken a significant step towards strengthening its information security posture by partnering with Risk Associates, a renowned management systems certification body.The collaboration aims to achieve ISO/IEC 27001:2022 compliance, a globally recognized standard for information security management.

The signing ceremony for the partnership took place in Karachi, with Mr. Kashif Hassan, Managing Director of Risk Associates, and Mr. Umair Aijaz, CEO of Raqami Islamic Digital Bank Ltd, formalizing the agreement.

In response to the State Bank of Pakistan’s (SBP) directive to enhance the security of digital banking products and services, obtaining ISO 27001 certification has become a crucial requirement for banks in Pakistan. By partnering with Risk Associates, Raqami Bank demonstrates its commitment to adhering to regulatory standards and safeguarding customer data.
