PwC And Google Cloud Launch AI Driven Managed Security Service For Enterprises

Published:

PwC has introduced a new AI driven managed security service in collaboration with Google Cloud, marking a significant step in its expansion within the managed cybersecurity services market. The offering is built on Google Security Operations and is designed to deliver unified detection and response capabilities through automation and advanced analytics. The launch follows a previously announced three year collaboration between PwC and Google Cloud valued at 400 million dollars, aimed at modernizing cybersecurity operations. The service is specifically positioned to serve mid sized and smaller enterprises that may not traditionally engage large consulting firms for cybersecurity support.

The new platform integrates PwC’s cybersecurity expertise with Google Cloud’s security operations infrastructure, creating a full stack solution that combines monitoring, detection, and response within a single system. The service relies heavily on agentic AI workflows, enabling automated threat detection, prioritization, and mitigation processes. According to PwC leadership, this approach reduces reliance on large operational teams and complex infrastructure setups typically associated with traditional managed security services. The platform includes specialized AI agents capable of identifying threats, triaging alerts to distinguish critical incidents from routine activity, and recommending or executing remediation actions based on predefined intelligence frameworks.

PwC representatives noted that while automation plays a central role, the system includes human oversight to ensure accuracy and accountability in decision making. This hybrid model is intended to deliver efficient and cost effective cybersecurity operations while maintaining high levels of reliability. The managed service offers continuous monitoring with 24 hour detection and response capabilities, allowing organizations to maintain strong security posture without the need to build extensive in house teams. By combining knowledge libraries, threat intelligence, and operational processes into a unified platform, PwC aims to provide an outsourced solution that simplifies cybersecurity management for clients.

The partnership also reflects a broader strategic alignment between PwC and Google Cloud, extending beyond managed security services into artificial intelligence initiatives. Alongside the service launch, PwC announced the establishment of a Gemini Enterprise Center of Excellence, which will support organizations in implementing AI solutions using Google Cloud technologies. This initiative is designed to help enterprises transition from pilot projects to large scale deployments, providing technical expertise and infrastructure support. Together, these developments indicate a continued investment in expanding capabilities across both consulting and managed services, with a focus on leveraging AI and cloud technologies to address evolving enterprise security and operational requirements.
