PTCL Partners with IBM and GBM to Modernize IT Infrastructure

PTCL) has entered into a strategic partnership with GBM Pakistan and IBM to modernize its IT infrastructure, marking a significant step forward in its digital transformation journey. The modernization initiative will see PTCL deploying IBM Power10 servers across its production, High Availability (HA), and Disaster Recovery (DR) environments. These advanced servers are known for their exceptional processing power and robust security features, designed to handle the increasing data demands of a rapidly evolving telecommunications sector. Alongside this, PTCL will integrate IBM Spectrum Scale, a powerful data management solution, to streamline its processes and improve scalability. This will enable the company to create a future-ready infrastructure that aligns with its long-term growth and innovation strategies.
