PTCL Group, Pakistan’s largest telecommunications and integrated ICT services provider, has entered into a strategic partnership with CEQUENS, a global customer engagement solutions provider, to introduce Communication Platform as a Service (CPaaS) for enterprises across Pakistan. The partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony held during GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai. Asif Ahmad, Group Chief Business Solutions Officer at PTCL & Ufone 4G, and Nermeen Sobhy, Senior Vice President for Carrier Relations and Wholesale at CEQUENS, signed the agreement. The event was also attended by PTCL & Ufone 4G Group Chief Commercial Officer, Syed Atif Raza, and CEQUENS CEO, Karim Khorshed, along with senior executives from both companies.

Through this collaboration, PTCL Group and CEQUENS aim to empower businesses with a unified communication suite designed to enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency. The CPaaS platform will integrate multiple communication channels including SMS, voice, WhatsApp, and other digital services into a single solution, enabling enterprises to interact with customers more effectively. By combining PTCL Group’s extensive network infrastructure and national reach with CEQUENS’ global technology expertise, the partnership seeks to provide scalable and flexible digital tools that can adapt to diverse industry needs. This initiative aligns with PTCL Group’s broader objective to accelerate enterprise digitalization and support Pakistan’s transition toward a more connected business ecosystem.

Speaking on the occasion, Asif Ahmad, Group Chief Business Solutions Officer at PTCL & Ufone 4G, said that this partnership represents an important step in PTCL Group’s mission to evolve as a leading digital enabler for Pakistan’s enterprises. He emphasized that CPaaS will allow businesses to adopt smarter communication frameworks, streamline engagement, and strengthen their relationships with customers. Ahmad noted that PTCL continues to invest in innovation and infrastructure development as part of its vision to drive cross-sector modernization and sustainable growth through technology.

Nermeen Sobhy, Senior Vice President Carrier Relations and Wholesale at CEQUENS, expressed confidence that the partnership would bring new value to Pakistani enterprises seeking efficient customer engagement solutions. She highlighted that CEQUENS’ platform offers businesses the ability to deliver consistent and personalized communication experiences across multiple touchpoints, thereby improving responsiveness and service quality. According to Sobhy, this collaboration allows businesses in Pakistan to benefit from an advanced customer engagement platform without the need for heavy infrastructure investments, enabling them to focus on growth and customer satisfaction.

This partnership underscores PTCL Group’s continued commitment to introducing world-class digital platforms to Pakistan and enhancing its role as a trusted partner in enterprise innovation. By integrating CEQUENS’ CPaaS capabilities into its offerings, PTCL Group is strengthening its portfolio of business communication services while supporting enterprises in achieving higher levels of efficiency, flexibility, and customer-centricity. The collaboration reflects both organizations’ shared goal of advancing digital transformation and establishing a robust communication infrastructure for businesses operating in an increasingly digital economy.
