PSEB Opens Expression Of Interest For Pakistan-Malaysia Bilateral B2B Conference

Published:

Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), working under the Ministry of IT & Telecom, has invited Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from local businesses to participate in the upcoming Pakistan-Malaysia Bilateral B2B Conference. This initiative aims to foster greater cooperation between Pakistani and Malaysian technology sectors, providing an opportunity for businesses to explore collaborations in emerging areas. The last date for submission of EOIs is September 19, 2025, at 01:00 PM. The event seeks to attract a diverse group of participants, including established technology firms, innovative startups, and companies seeking to expand their presence in international markets, particularly in Malaysia.

PSEB has highlighted that the Government of Pakistan is placing significant focus on the high-potential semiconductor industry. In line with this priority, companies operating in semiconductors are strongly encouraged to submit their applications. However, the opportunity is not limited to this sector alone. ICT companies and startups engaged in areas such as software development, IT services, Cloud services, and cybersecurity are also invited to express their interest. This initiative presents a structured avenue for businesses to engage with Malaysian counterparts, opening the door for cross-border partnerships that support mutual growth in the technology and digital transformation space.

Startups, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and established firms with innovative solutions and a clear international growth strategy have been specifically encouraged to apply. PSEB has noted that preference will be given to companies whose products and services align with Malaysia’s technology and digital transformation objectives. By focusing on firms that complement Malaysia’s development goals, the conference aims to ensure targeted discussions and more meaningful outcomes for participants on both sides. This approach also reflects Pakistan’s ambition to position its technology sector as a competitive and attractive partner for international collaborations.

Participation in the Pakistan-Malaysia Bilateral B2B Conference will be on a self-funded basis. According to PSEB, final selection of participants will depend on the readiness of the companies and their alignment with Malaysian digital transformation priorities. Additional event details, including schedules and session structures, will be shared closer to the date of the conference. Businesses interested in taking part are required to submit their Expressions of Interest through the online form available at this link. This initiative represents a significant step for Pakistani firms seeking to build networks in Malaysia and explore opportunities in fast-growing technology domains.
