PRAL And FBR Lead Digital Invoicing Seminar At SCCI To Address Business Community Concerns

Published:

PRAL, in collaboration with FBR, hosted a seminar on digital invoicing at the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI), marking another milestone in Pakistan’s journey toward tax digitization. The session served as an important platform to introduce the business community of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to the upcoming digital invoicing regime while also facilitating open dialogue about the challenges expected during its implementation. The event underscored the role of PRAL as a licensed integrator with FBR, guiding businesses through the registration process and providing clarity on how the system is set to reshape tax practices across the country.

The seminar placed equal emphasis on knowledge sharing and active engagement with stakeholders. Members of the business community expressed enthusiasm for digital invoicing but also highlighted key concerns that need to be addressed for successful adoption. Issues such as technical readiness, limited digital infrastructure in certain regions, connectivity challenges, and the learning curve for small and medium-sized enterprises were brought to the forefront. These insights reflected the community’s willingness to embrace transformation while calling for a practical approach that supports businesses at varying levels of preparedness.

Participants noted that while digital invoicing promises improved transparency, compliance, and efficiency, businesses in KPK require targeted support mechanisms to ensure a smooth transition. This includes training programs, simplified onboarding processes, and technical assistance to minimize disruption to existing workflows. By gathering direct feedback from SCCI members, PRAL and FBR were able to better understand the specific needs of the region, which is critical for formulating a strategy that aligns national tax reforms with local business realities.

The leadership of SCCI acknowledged the significance of the initiative and appreciated the collaborative spirit demonstrated during the dialogue. They emphasized that successful adoption of digital invoicing will depend not only on the availability of technology but also on how effectively it is communicated and supported. PRAL reaffirmed its commitment to work closely with stakeholders to ensure businesses across KPK receive the resources they need to adapt to the new system. The seminar was widely recognized as a constructive step in aligning government efforts with the practical concerns of entrepreneurs and traders.

By organizing this session at SCCI, PRAL and FBR strengthened their role in driving digital transformation while building trust with regional business leaders. The event highlighted that Pakistan’s move toward a transparent and efficient tax ecosystem must consider the diverse challenges faced by communities across the country. With continued collaboration, digital invoicing can become a key enabler for modernizing business practices, fostering compliance, and supporting economic growth in both regional and national contexts.
