Pakistan’s First Indigenous Chatbot Platform smsapp Partners with Punjab IT Board

Published:

Pakistan’s Punjab Information Technology Board has partnered with Infocomm Technology to develop a communication platform utilizing smsapp, the country’s first indigenously developed solution.

“This is a great initiative by PITB,” said Infocomm in a social media post. “We are the exclusive partners for smsapp and are proud to contribute this chatbot to their projects.”

The rollout plan for the platform is yet to be announced by Infocomm, but the company highlights the cost-saving benefits of smsapp.  Beyond traditional chatbots, Infocomm claims the platform can function as a versatile development tool.

“With smsapp, businesses can reduce communication costs and eliminate the need to build separate applications,” the statement reads. “Our robust chatbot can be easily integrated with APIs to handle any business case.”

This partnership signifies a potential step forward in communication technology solutions within Pakistan.
