Islamabad based IT services company DPL has earned international recognition after being ranked among the top 25 organizations in the 2026 Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces list. The company secured the 22nd position in the annual ranking compiled by the Best Practice Institute, marking a significant achievement for Pakistan’s technology sector on the global stage. Operating from its office in I 8 Markaz, Islamabad, DPL was listed alongside some of the world’s leading technology, cybersecurity, software, financial services, and professional services organizations. The ranking is based on independent employee surveys involving more than 2.8 million workers across over 20 industries worldwide. The assessment evaluates how organizations engage employees, build trust, respond to feedback, develop workplace culture, and retain talent in an increasingly competitive labor market. DPL’s inclusion among the highest ranked organizations highlights the growing visibility of Pakistan’s technology industry and demonstrates the ability of local companies to compete with established international brands in areas extending beyond technology and business performance.
According to the report, traditional workplace incentives such as competitive salaries, flexible working arrangements, and attractive benefits packages are no longer sufficient on their own to retain employees. Findings referenced from a 2026 WorldatWork report revealed that nearly 70 percent of employees expressed satisfaction with their compensation, while 77 percent reported satisfaction with their overall benefits. Despite these figures, approximately 75 percent indicated they were still exploring opportunities outside their current organizations. Researchers noted that employee engagement, trust, transparency, professional growth, and meaningful workplace experiences are increasingly influencing retention decisions. The ranking reflects these evolving workplace priorities by examining how organizations incorporate culture into daily operations rather than treating it as a standalone initiative. DPL’s performance in the ranking suggests that the company has successfully aligned workplace practices with employee expectations in an environment where talent attraction and retention have become major challenges for organizations across industries.
DPL ranked ahead of several internationally recognized companies, including Vonage, Zebra Technologies, Cloudflare, Automation Anywhere, KnowBe4, Unisys, Hugging Face, and Kraft Heinz. The list featured organizations from a wide range of sectors, with Donnelley Financial Solutions claiming the top position, followed by Kyndryl, Veritiv, IDEAL Industries, and APCO. Other notable technology organizations appearing within the top 25 included Databricks, Onit, Supercharge.io, Customer.io, Palo Alto Networks, Tanium, YouScan, and Synopsys. The presence of DPL among these globally recognized names underscores the company’s ability to establish a workplace environment that resonates strongly with employees. The ranking also reflects broader trends within the technology sector, where organizations are increasingly focusing on employee experience, skills development, leadership accessibility, and transparent communication as essential components of business success.
The report highlighted that many highly ranked employers have integrated workplace values directly into performance evaluations, promotion decisions, leadership accountability, and strategic planning processes. Organizations featured on the list were recognized for actively responding to employee feedback, investing in professional development, and maintaining open communication channels across all levels of management. Examples cited in the report included companies sharing business performance data directly with employees, conducting large scale leadership discussions, expanding profit sharing programs, and creating opportunities for direct engagement between executives and staff. The report also noted that some organizations have taken decisive action when leadership behavior failed to align with company values, including asking senior leaders to leave positions where cultural expectations were not being met. DPL’s placement among the world’s most loved workplaces reflects the increasing importance of trust, employee engagement, and organizational culture in shaping modern workplaces while reinforcing Pakistan’s growing presence in the global technology and IT services industry.
