National Telecommunication Corporation recently inaugurated its Security Operations Center equipped with Cydea Tech SIEM, an indigenous cybersecurity solution. The ceremony, held at NTC Headquarters in Islamabad, was themed “Unleashing Cyber Vigilance.”

Syed Amin Ul Haque, the Federal Minister of Information Technology & Telecommunication, graced the occasion as the chief guest. He officially inaugurated the SOC alongside Mahir Mohsin Sheikh, CEO of Trillium Information Security Systems (TISS), and Engr. Miraj Gul, Managing Director of NTC.

Mahir Mohsin Sheikh elaborated on Cydea Tech SIEM’s functionalities and the promising future collaboration between TISS, NTC, and national cybersecurity entities like National CERT and NTSOC.

Federal Minister Haque lauded the development of this indigenous solution, highlighting its contribution to strengthening national cybersecurity. Engr. Miraj Gul echoed this sentiment, commending the project’s groundbreaking potential.

This event not only celebrated innovation but also solidified a significant partnership poised to reshape Pakistan’s cybersecurity landscape.
