Pakistan Single Window Introduces AI Chatbot ‘Khizer’ for 24/7 Trade Assistance

Published:

Pakistan Single Window (PSW) has launched its AI-powered chatbot named Khizer, now live on the official PSW and TradeVerse / TIPP websites. This new digital assistant has been developed to support users within Pakistan’s trade ecosystem by offering around-the-clock assistance and reducing reliance on conventional helpline support systems. The initiative reflects PSW’s commitment to improving user accessibility and digital service delivery in international and domestic trade processes.

Khizer is designed as a conversational AI tool that interacts with users through an easy-to-use interface. It can provide instant responses to frequently asked trade-related questions, helping individuals and businesses navigate PSW services without waiting in call queues or combing through documentation. By incorporating natural language processing capabilities, the chatbot can understand and resolve queries in real time, supporting a wide range of trade facilitation topics.

With 24/7 availability, Khizer aims to enhance the self-service experience for users, offering assistance any time of day across multiple platforms. Whether users are trying to understand customs declarations, registration procedures, or using PSW’s modules, the chatbot delivers prompt answers. This automation significantly reduces the response time compared to traditional channels, enabling faster processing and smoother communication.

Available through both www.psw.gov.pk and www.tipp.gov.pk, Khizer integrates directly into the user journey. Once on either platform, users can activate support by clicking the “Ask Khizer” prompt. The AI engine then assists them by walking through steps, explaining processes, or directing them to the appropriate digital forms and resources. This seamless integration is part of PSW’s broader vision of streamlining digital trade facilitation.

The deployment of Khizer not only improves service availability but also contributes to the transparency of the system by ensuring consistent and accurate information delivery. This allows businesses, clearing agents, and other trade stakeholders to reduce dependency on manual communication and access trade-related support more efficiently.

Khizer’s release follows PSW’s ongoing digital transformation agenda aimed at simplifying and standardizing trade procedures through technology. The AI assistant serves as a key touchpoint for improving user experience and ensuring that critical support remains uninterrupted, regardless of time or location.

By introducing this AI chatbot, PSW has made another significant step in enhancing digital interfaces for trade operations in Pakistan. Khizer represents a growing trend of integrating artificial intelligence into public service delivery, helping institutions scale user support while maintaining quality and consistency across their digital platforms.
