Novacare Hospitals Goes Live On Oracle Fusion ERP Marking Full Enterprise Transformation In Healthcare Sector

Published:

Novacare Hospitals has officially gone live on Oracle Fusion ERP as of May 08, 2026, marking a major milestone in its journey to become a leading healthcare institution in Pakistan over the next 15 years. As a greenfield hospital, the organization has taken a structured approach by establishing its back office systems from the very beginning, focusing on building a strong digital foundation for long term operational efficiency. The implementation represents a complete enterprise transformation rather than a partial deployment or phased workaround, positioning the hospital within a fully integrated digital framework from day one.

The ERP deployment covers Finance, Supply Chain, and Human Capital processes, enabling a modernized operational structure designed to support clinical and administrative efficiency. The implementation was carried out with support from Keystone Consulting, ensuring structured execution across all functional areas. The transition to Oracle Fusion ERP was completed as a full scale rollout, aligning business processes with standardized digital workflows and eliminating fragmented systems. This approach reflects a commitment to operational discipline and system driven governance across all core hospital functions.

The project delivered several key outcomes during implementation, including 395 Oracle Modern Best Practices adopted across processes, more than 500 issues identified and resolved through a structured JIRA based tracking system, and over 100 KPIs defined prior to the first configuration phase. Additionally, 1,194 hours were dedicated to CRP and UAT sessions, ensuring system validation and user readiness. The entire implementation was completed within seven months as a greenfield project without any parallel run, highlighting a tightly managed execution timeline supported by governance frameworks including daily standups, weekly workstream and PMO committees, and structured steering committee oversight.

Leadership and execution teams played a central role in managing complexities such as data gaps and integration challenges throughout the deployment lifecycle. The governance structure included contributions from Faraz M. Minai, Ghalib Hafiz, CEO Hans Kedzierski, Mustafa Hassan, along with workstream leads Ali Rizvi, Saadat Baseer, MBA, CSCP, B.E, and Almas Hosain Ali. The IT and PMO teams, including Muhammad Asfand Yar, PMP, Khadija Farooq, and Umar Aftab Awan, provided continuous operational support, while key users Syed Muhammad Faizan Alam, Sheikh Zaim Nasir ACCA, Fahim Uddin, and Ifrah Tabassum ensured functional alignment and system adoption across departments. This coordinated effort enabled Novacare Hospitals to become the first organization in Pakistan to implement the complete Oracle Fusion suite, including the Payroll module, which had not previously been deployed in the country. With Phase 2 already underway, the organization is now moving into process transformation, further advancing its digital healthcare infrastructure.
