NCERT successfully delivered a comprehensive cybersecurity awareness training program to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA). This initiative aimed to empower MoFA officials with the knowledge and skills necessary to combat cyber threats in today’s digital landscape.
Led by Mr. Khurram Javed, Director Capacity Building at NCERT, the training program covered a wide range of crucial topics. Participants gained valuable insights into social engineering tactics, best practices for secure social media and smart technology usage, advanced persistent threats (APTs), and intelligence-counter intelligence strategies. Additionally, the program emphasized the importance of safeguarding both personal and official information in the digital realm.
The training proved to be a captivating learning experience for MoFA officials and officers. The program not only included on-site attendees but also facilitated online participation from 40 Pakistani embassies worldwide. This collaboration between NCERT’s expertise and MoFA’s commitment to cybersecurity awareness paves the way for a more secure digital future for Pakistan.
