NCERT and PTA held a collaborative meeting at PTA headquarters in Islamabad.

The NCERT delegation, led by Director General Dr. Haider Abbas, met with PTA Chairman Major General (R) Hafeez Ur Rehman HI (M). Both parties expressed their commitment to fostering collaboration in the fight against cyber threats.

During the meeting, Dr. Muhammad Mukaram Khan, DG Cyber Vigilance at PTA, provided a tour of the National Telecom Security Operations Center (ntSOC) and the National Telecom Computer Emergency Response Team (ntCERT). This allowed the NCERT team to gain a deeper understanding of PTA’s efforts in safeguarding Pakistan’s critical telecom infrastructure.

The meeting concluded with a pledge from both NCERT and PTA to join forces and achieve a shared vision of a cyber-secure digital Pakistan. A dedicated interface has been established to facilitate technical and operational cooperation between the two organizations.

This collaboration signifies a significant step forward in strengthening Pakistan’s national cybersecurity posture. By working together, NCERT and PTA aim to effectively address evolving cyber threats and ensure a secure digital environment for the nation.
