The National CERT’s “Cyber Safety for Everyone – Roadshow,” in collaboration with Ignite – National Technology Fund and the Ministry of IT and Telecom Pakistan (MoITT), is making significant strides in promoting cyber awareness across the country.

As a key component of the National CERT’s Cyber Security Capacity Building Program, this initiative is empowering communities to navigate the complexities of the digital landscape with confidence and vigilance. Following successful sessions in Quetta, Karachi, Islamabad, and Haripur, the roadshow recently extended its outreach to Sialkot, motivating citizens to take proactive steps in safeguarding their online security.

Leading the session was Mr. Khurram Javed, Director of Capacity Building at National CERT. His presentation guided participants through practical strategies for protecting their digital identities and instilling robust cyber hygiene practices.

The highly interactive format encouraged attendees to voice their concerns and engage meaningfully with the content, resulting in a collaborative learning environment. Participants left equipped with essential tools and strategies to secure their personal data and navigate the digital realm safely.

As the “Cyber Safety for Everyone – Roadshow” continues to journey through various cities, its mission remains focused on reinforcing the notion that cybersecurity is a collective responsibility.

The recent engagement in Sialkot exemplifies the initiative’s impact, and the momentum of this empowering campaign is poised to grow. Through continued education and awareness, the National CERT aims to equip every citizen with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in the digital age, ensuring a safer online environment for all.
