In a strategic move to enhance cybersecurity resilience, Pakistan’s National Cyber Emergency Response Team (PKCERT) conducted a comprehensive training session at the National Information Technology Board (NITB). Led by Mr. Khurram Javed, Director of Capacity Building at National CERT, the session aimed to equip over 100 participants from NITB and ministries with essential insights into the ever-evolving cyber threat landscape.
The training covered crucial aspects such as the Secure Software Development Lifecycle, social media-based vulnerabilities, Supply Chain threats, and Application Security. By delving into these pivotal facets of cybersecurity, the session sought to establish a robust foundation within the audience’s respective workforce, promoting safe and secure technology usage.
This proactive engagement underscores National CERT’s dedication to national-level cybersecurity preparedness. By educating NITB professionals on the latest strategies and insights, the initiative ensures their capability not only in identifying and analyzing potential cyber incidents but also in implementing preventative measures. In the face of constantly evolving cyber threats, this specialized training session emphasizes the significance of continuous education and capacity development, fortifying the collective resilience of the nation’s digital infrastructure.
