Multinet Pakistan has announced a strategic partnership with Town Municipal Corporation (TMC) North Nazimabad to deploy free public Wi-Fi across the area, a move aimed at enhancing digital access and improving urban connectivity for residents. The initiative, powered by Optify, reflects a growing focus on developing smart urban infrastructure that supports the evolving needs of citizens and businesses. The formal signing ceremony took place at the TMC Office in North Nazimabad, where TMC Chairman and Multinet Pakistan CEO Adnan Zaidi were joined by senior officials from both organizations to finalize the agreement.

Under this collaboration, Multinet will provide high-speed public Wi-Fi services that enable residents to stay connected while accessing essential digital services. The deployment of free connectivity in public spaces is expected to improve accessibility for students, small businesses, and the general public by offering a reliable platform for education, communication, and e-services. This initiative demonstrates Multinet’s commitment to empowering communities through advanced digital solutions, while aligning with Pakistan’s broader digital inclusion goals. By working closely with local government authorities, the project also sets a precedent for future public-private collaborations aimed at fostering digital growth within urban centers.

Multinet’s partnership with TMC North Nazimabad underscores the company’s continued investment in expanding its Optify network and bringing quality internet services to underserved areas. The introduction of free public Wi-Fi not only enhances digital inclusion but also contributes to the creation of smarter, more connected urban environments. With Pakistan witnessing rapid adoption of digital technologies, initiatives like this play an essential role in bridging connectivity gaps and ensuring that citizens can participate more actively in the digital economy.

Both TMC and Multinet aim to use this project as a foundation for additional smart city initiatives in Karachi, including digital kiosks, intelligent transport systems, and municipal service applications. By leveraging technology to improve accessibility, transparency, and service delivery, this partnership serves as a model for other urban administrations across Pakistan. The deployment of Optify-powered public Wi-Fi marks another step in Multinet’s mission to expand digital empowerment and strengthen connectivity infrastructure that benefits both communities and the economy.
