Kistpay (Private) Limited has announced the launch of the AI and Digital Entrepreneurship Training Programme in partnership with the Association pour la Défense des Personnes Vulnérables (ADPV), Chad, under the ADPV Digital Innovation and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. The initiative aims to provide young participants with practical knowledge and skills in emerging technologies, focusing on artificial intelligence, digital capabilities, and entrepreneurship opportunities.
The programme brings together participants from Chad, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Central African Republic, Niger, Burkina Faso, and Senegal, creating a platform for young individuals from different regions to develop technology skills and explore digital innovation. Through this initiative, participants will gain exposure to concepts and practices related to artificial intelligence and digital entrepreneurship, helping them understand the role of technology in creating new opportunities and addressing modern challenges. Asif Jafri, CEO of Kistpay, welcomed the participants and highlighted the company’s commitment to using technology as a means to expand access to learning opportunities, strengthen digital inclusion, and support communities with limited access to digital resources. The Kistpay team also engaged with participants during the launch, introducing the programme structure and learning objectives while discussing expectations and goals for the upcoming training sessions.
The programme is being delivered through collaboration between Kistpay and ADPV, with support from International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Partner2Connect. The partnership reflects a shared focus on advancing digital learning and skills development by providing young participants with access to knowledge and practical training in areas that are becoming increasingly important in the global technology landscape. Digital entrepreneurship programmes such as this are designed to help participants build confidence in using emerging technologies while encouraging innovation and problem-solving. Kistpay stated that the initiative represents its continued focus on leveraging technology to create wider access to opportunities and support digital empowerment. By bringing together participants from multiple African countries, the training programme aims to encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the development of ideas that can contribute to digital growth within local communities.
The launch of the AI and Digital Entrepreneurship Training Programme highlights the growing importance of digital skills development as organisations and communities worldwide prepare for an increasingly technology-driven future. Through partnerships with organisations such as ADPV and support from initiatives like ITU Partner2Connect, the programme seeks to contribute to broader efforts focused on digital inclusion, capacity building, and expanding access to artificial intelligence education.
