K-Electric has awarded a contract for its new primary data center project to CNS Engineering. The state-of-the-art data center will play a pivotal role in accelerating K-Electric’s digital transformation initiatives.
The contract signing ceremony took place at K-Electric’s Head Office on September 19th, 2024. Mr. Jasim Hasan, Head of Procurement at K-Electric, and Mr. Najam Mian, CEO of CNS Engineering, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
The data center, powered by Schneider Electric, features modern technology with a scalable modular architecture. It has an initial installed capacity of 500 KW and an expansion capacity of 1 MW.
Mr. Najam Mian, CEO of CNS Engineering, expressed his gratitude to K-Electric for their patronage and support, which were instrumental in making this project a reality.
He also praised the efforts of K-Electric’s IT team for adopting this world-class modernization initiative and reaffirmed CNS Engineering’s commitment to ensuring a successful delivery.
