iTANZ Technologies Approves Rs4.34 Billion Acquisition Of Majority Stake In Australia Based ITANZ Infinity

Pakistan based iTANZ Technologies Limited has approved an overseas investment of up to AUD 21,857,641, approximately Rs4.34 billion, for the acquisition of a 51 percent stake in Australia based ITANZ Infinity Pty Ltd, an associated company. The decision was approved by the company’s Board of Directors during a meeting held on June 6, 2026, and was formally disclosed through a notice submitted to Pakistan Stock Exchange. The acquisition reflects the company’s continued international business expansion strategy and highlights increasing participation by Pakistan based technology firms in overseas markets through strategic investments and cross border operations.

According to details shared in the stock filing, the agreed transaction terms state that settlement of the entire acquisition amount will be completed over a period of five years. The company further disclosed that iTANZ Technologies Limited will become eligible for dividend entitlement from the date of transfer of shares, allowing it to benefit from earnings generated by the acquired entity following completion of the share transfer process. The acquisition of a majority stake in ITANZ Infinity Pty Ltd is expected to strengthen the company’s international presence and support wider operational capabilities through closer alignment with its Australia based associated business.

iTANZ Technologies Limited, formerly known as Zahur Cotton Mills Limited, was incorporated in Pakistan as a public limited company in 1990. The company later transitioned into the technology sector as part of a broader restructuring and business transformation strategy. In March 2025, Lahore High Court approved the merger between iTANZ Technologies Limited and ITANZ Technology Private Limited (ITPL), with effect from October 1, 2023. The merger significantly reshaped the organization’s business focus, enabling the company to operate more extensively within Pakistan’s growing information technology sector. Following the restructuring, the company’s principal business activities expanded to include software development, technology implementation, IT related supplies and services, and consultancy within the information technology domain.

The acquisition announcement also follows iTANZ Technologies’ broader efforts to strengthen its global business footprint and identify new technology related opportunities in international markets. The company has previously indicated interest in expanding technology partnerships and pursuing international collaborations to support growth within software development and digital services. With increasing global demand for enterprise technology, IT services, and digital transformation solutions, Pakistan based technology firms are increasingly exploring international acquisitions and partnerships to diversify operations, strengthen market positioning, and expand service delivery capabilities beyond domestic markets.
