The Institute of Business Management (IoBM) and WANZ International Technology (Pvt.) Ltd. joined forces on August 31st, 2022, by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU). This MoU aims to facilitate young IoBM entrepreneurs and graduates from IT and business management by providing them with opportunities to participate in exhibitions, conferences, or seminars organized by WANZ in North America, the UK, or Pakistan.
These events will offer valuable networking opportunities, allowing students to connect and interact with business and corporate leaders. Dr. Imran Batada (CTO and Director CIT, IoBM) and Mr. Ashfaque Ahmed (Director, WANZ International Group of Companies) signed the official document.
The collaboration is expected to benefit IoBM in multiple ways. President Talib Karim highlighted that it will allow students to gain valuable insights for their startups, while faculty members can explore research opportunities. Dr. Batada sees the partnership as a catalyst for promoting entrepreneurship in Pakistan, while Mr. Ashfaque believes it can help address the nation’s IT talent shortage.
WANZ International Group Limited’s Chairman, Mr. Shoaib Ahmed, also emphasized the MoU’s role in fostering Pakistan’s startup ecosystem by connecting investors with young businesses.
Representatives from both organizations attended the signing ceremony, including members of WANZ International Group Limited (Syed Aminullah Hussaini, Zain ul Abidin), JAMTech (Mr. Farhan Arif), Zaybiash Private Limited (Mr. Faisal Ahmed), NBIA Media Group (Mr. Fahad Jafri, Mr. Amin Yousuf, Mr. Ebad Shaikh), and IoBM (Dr. Shahida Wizarat, Dr. Samra Javed, Mr. Nabhan Karim).
