Huawei Digital Week Pakistan 2026 Highlights Cloud And AI In National Tech Transformation

Huawei Pakistan has concluded its Digital Week Pakistan 2026 in Islamabad, bringing together key stakeholders from government, industry, academia, and the technology sector to explore advancements in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and next generation ICT solutions. The week long event served as a platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange, highlighting the role of emerging technologies in supporting Pakistan’s digital transformation efforts. The invitation only gathering featured workshops, panel discussions, exhibitions, and live demonstrations that enabled participants to gain practical insights into evolving digital infrastructure and enterprise solutions.

Senior leadership from Huawei Pakistan emphasized the importance of cloud technologies in modernizing digital ecosystems and enabling scalable innovation across industries. Ethan Sun, Chief Executive Officer Huawei Pakistan, noted that cloud platforms play a central role in improving operational efficiency, enhancing security, and accelerating the adoption of advanced technologies. Ahmed Bilal Masud, CEO AI and Cloud Business Huawei Pakistan, highlighted the company’s continued focus on supporting Pakistan’s digital growth through long term investments, technical collaboration, and capacity building initiatives. He stated that the event created opportunities for engagement with partners and stakeholders to share global practices and identify new areas for cooperation in the digital space.

The event attracted participation from major public and private sector organizations, including delegations from Ministry of IT and Telecom and PTA, along with representatives from telecom operators such as Jazz, Telenor, and CMPak. Officials from State Bank of Pakistan and Board of Investment were also present, reflecting a broad interest in digital transformation across financial and regulatory sectors. Dedicated technology zones were set up during the event where Huawei experts demonstrated innovations in cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity frameworks, and AI driven applications. These demonstrations provided attendees with a closer understanding of how next generation ICT systems can be deployed across different industries to improve performance and security.

Throughout the week, technical sessions led by local and international experts addressed topics including cloud migration strategies, enterprise AI adoption, data protection practices, and workforce skill development.
