According to Shahid Mehmood, Chairman and CEO of Interactive Group of Companies, “there is a lot of potential in Pakistan, and with connectivity and the way things are moving around the world with social media, the right amount of connectivity can encash on what we have as real talent in the youth of Pakistan. What we need to get to the world in the correct format and once we’ve done that, there is no end to what all we can achieve. And once the markets are not only local for us, but they are regional as well as global and that is what I believe Pakistan has to offer us and we have to offer Pakistan.
Interactive Group of Companies itself is basically a system integrator and have been around for 20 years.“We operate in four countries of the world. We are doing projects at the Enterprise level and our focus is to do projects in the remote areas of Pakistan where we are focused on optimized connectivity, public sector as well as education and enterprise projects,” said Shahid Mehmood.
Talking about their projects in the current year, Shahid Mehmood also added that they are focused very seriously on the web sector. “Currently we are doing about 50 hospital automations and manage about 11 million patients and we hope to make it up to 20 million patients and that is the target that I have given to my team because with each patient and his life that we bring onto the system, we say we do some good,” he quoted.
