Engro Corporation, along with its team, recently held their inaugural Supplier Symposium. This two-day event served as a platform to welcome suppliers and train them on the upcoming digitization of Engro’s procurement process using SAP Ariba.
The symposium aimed to bring key stakeholders together to discuss the challenges and opportunities of Pakistan’s evolving market landscape. Engro recognizes the importance of private infrastructure projects and user choice in fostering a competitive market. Additionally, they emphasize the need for fair access to digital advancements as Pakistan accelerates its digital transformation journey.
Over 600 suppliers participated in the four sessions, with some online sessions attracting over 150 attendees. The event resonated with a spirit of excitement as suppliers embraced the prospect of a digital future. Many expressed confidence in becoming early adopters of the new source-to-contract solution.
