Data Vault Pakistan Signs Three Year Contract With NTC To Deliver Sovereign AI Services For Government Of Pakistan

Data Vault Pakistan has signed a landmark three year contract with National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC) to deliver Sovereign AI Services for Government of Pakistan, marking an important milestone in the country’s efforts to establish secure and nationally controlled artificial intelligence infrastructure. The agreement was signed in Islamabad on July 15, 2026, and is aimed at strengthening Pakistan’s sovereign digital capabilities by enabling government institutions to access advanced AI technologies through locally hosted infrastructure.

Under the agreement, Data Vault Pakistan will deploy enterprise grade NVIDIA AI infrastructure featuring the latest H200, B200, and A100 GPU platforms. This deployment will allow NTC to provide GPU as a Service (GPUaaS), Models as a Service (MaaS), and enterprise AI capabilities from its highly secure and managed data centers. The platform will offer secure computing resources, advanced AI infrastructure, and access to leading AI models, allowing government institutions to accelerate artificial intelligence adoption while ensuring that critical data and AI workloads remain within Pakistan. By hosting these services locally, the initiative is designed to provide a secure environment for AI inference and training while reducing reliance on public cloud platforms. The project reflects the increasing importance of building national AI infrastructure that supports both security and innovation while meeting the growing demand for high performance computing resources across the public sector.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Managing Director of NTC Maj. Gen. (R) Ali Farhan highlighted the strategic value of investing in localized AI infrastructure. He stated that computing power has become the foundation of modern digital infrastructure and emphasized that securing high performance NVIDIA GPUs while hosting advanced AI models within Pakistan represents an important step toward protecting the country’s digital sovereignty. According to him, the self hosted and highly secure environment will reduce exposure to public cloud services while providing designated government clients with world class AI inference and training capabilities. Data Vault Pakistan Founder and Chief Executive Officer Mehwish Salman Ali also reaffirmed the company’s commitment to strengthening Pakistan’s sovereign AI future. She said that artificial intelligence will play a defining role in the next era of national development, economic growth, and public services, adding that countries capable of controlling their own data, computing resources, and AI infrastructure will be better positioned to shape their future. She noted that the partnership with NTC represents a significant step toward building trusted AI infrastructure that is hosted in Pakistan, governed under Pakistani law, and operated under national control for the benefit of the Federal Government.

Chief Operating Officer Syed Zeeshan Ali said the partnership extends beyond deploying advanced technology and focuses on creating the AI foundation Pakistan requires for long term growth. He explained that the initiative will create opportunities for young professionals, businesses, and public sector institutions by expanding access to modern AI capabilities and secure computing resources. The agreement also aligns with Pakistan’s broader national vision of accelerating artificial intelligence adoption, strengthening sovereign digital infrastructure, and supporting the country’s ambition to emerge as a regional leader in trusted AI services. Through the deployment of enterprise grade NVIDIA infrastructure and locally hosted AI platforms, the collaboration between Data Vault Pakistan and NTC aims to provide government organizations with secure, scalable, and high performance AI services while reinforcing Pakistan’s efforts to build a reliable national digital ecosystem.
