CrowdStrike and Microsoft have deepened their strategic collaboration, aligning what they describe as two operating systems with a shared mission to strengthen enterprise security and cloud innovation. The Falcon platform is now available on Microsoft Marketplace with full Azure Consumption Commitment eligibility, enabling customers to apply Microsoft Azure funds directly toward CrowdStrike purchases. The announcement marks a significant step in integrating cloud infrastructure capabilities with advanced cybersecurity services at scale.
Under the new arrangement, organizations using Microsoft Azure can leverage their Azure Consumption Commitment toward investments in CrowdStrike’s Falcon platform. This allows enterprises to consolidate spending while strengthening their security posture across cloud and hybrid environments. Microsoft Azure continues to serve as a foundational platform that enables organizations to build, deploy, and innovate across global cloud environments. At the same time, Falcon delivers endpoint protection, threat intelligence, identity security, and resilience capabilities designed to support modern enterprise operations. The alignment creates a streamlined procurement model that benefits customers seeking efficiency in both budgeting and security management.
The collaboration was highlighted during a joint announcement featuring CrowdStrike President Steve Dispensa alongside CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz and Microsoft Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella. Judson Althoff, Microsoft Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, was also acknowledged for his role in advancing the partnership. The companies emphasized that bringing Falcon to Microsoft Marketplace with MACC eligibility simplifies the buying process for customers while strengthening the broader partner ecosystem. By enabling Azure funds to be used for CrowdStrike solutions, organizations gain greater flexibility in allocating cloud budgets without compromising on security requirements.
From a channel and partner perspective, the move creates expanded opportunities for distributors, solution providers, and alliance partners working within the Microsoft ecosystem. Partners can now position Falcon within Azure-driven digital transformation projects while aligning with customer cloud commitments. This integrated model supports faster deployment cycles, clearer financial planning, and enhanced collaboration between sales and technical teams across both organizations. According to the leadership teams, the objective is to empower enterprises to move faster, optimize technology investments, and maintain strong defenses against evolving cyber risks.
Executives from both companies expressed appreciation for the joint effort that led to the marketplace integration. Steve Dispensa credited internal teams and partner networks for driving execution and strengthening collaboration. The companies reiterated their commitment to supporting customers as they modernize infrastructure and secure operations across distributed environments. With Azure enabling scalable innovation and Falcon reinforcing secure growth and resilience, the partnership reflects a coordinated approach to enterprise cloud and cybersecurity priorities.
