Cloudera, a hybrid platform provider for data, analytics and artificial intelligence (AI), has partnered with stc group, a digital enabler in the Middle East, to support regional digital transformation through advanced ICT and telecommunications solutions. The collaboration aims to combine Cloudera’s expertise in enterprise data and analytics with stc group’s regional infrastructure capabilities to help organisations modernise connected systems across Kuwait and Bahrain. Under the partnership, stc group will coordinate regional delivery through its subsidiaries, stc Kuwait and stc Bahrain.
The partnership will focus on enabling organisations across the region with secure, scalable and innovative technology solutions designed to support evolving digital requirements. By combining data management, analytics capabilities and telecommunications infrastructure, Cloudera and stc group aim to help businesses and public sector entities improve operational efficiency, strengthen digital services and unlock greater value from their data assets. The collaboration will also explore opportunities in cybersecurity, network connectivity, Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and enterprise ICT solutions to support the development of connected infrastructure and smart city initiatives across Kuwait and Bahrain.
As part of the agreement, both organisations will establish a joint steering committee responsible for monitoring partnership performance and addressing strategic matters. The committee will oversee collaboration activities and help ensure that joint initiatives align with regional technology priorities. Through this framework, Cloudera and stc group will work together to deliver solutions focused on digital innovation, secure infrastructure development and sustainable technology growth.
