Jaadu is being touted as one of the most popular applications that have been designed for Apple’s iPhone. At one point, the application was ranked at number 19 in the paid applications in the App Store. The application is a Virtual Network Connection (VNC) app, and enables the user to control their computer from anywhere in the world and from a few feet away if they’re giving a presentation. The iPhone can hence even be used as a remote control or a wireless touchpad as well.
Jaadu is priced at $25, and currently its main competition is one other VNC client on the App Store, called Mocha VNC, which is priced at $6 and also has a free lite version which has fewer features than Jaadu, a more difficult interface and no support for large resolution displays. Jaadu has successfully worked for a user with 2 Apple Cinema 30” displays, meaning a combined resolution of around 5000 x 1200 pixels. The interface has been designed from the beginning with the mobile platform in mind.
As one of the offshoots of the high pricing, the customer service that is given on this application is ultra customized and is not outsourced. The customer service is one of the most appreciated aspects of this application.
Needless to say, this application once again shows the technical knowledge and potential of Pakistani talent pertaining to technology and programming.
