Bank of Khyber (BoK) has entered into a strategic partnership with Wateen Telecom Limited to strengthen its digital infrastructure through the deployment of a centralized Wi Fi solution integrated with an advanced Web Application Firewall (WAF). The collaboration is aimed at enhancing secure connectivity across the Bank’s operations while improving the protection of its digital banking environment against evolving cyber threats. The agreement was formally signed by Rashid Zaman Khan, Chief Information Officer, and Syed Muhammad Jafar, Head of IT Operations, on behalf of Bank of Khyber. Wateen Telecom was represented by Adil Rashid, Chief Executive Officer, and Nasir Mehmood, Vice President. The signing ceremony was attended by senior representatives from both organizations, highlighting the importance of the partnership in supporting the Bank’s technology modernization strategy. Through this collaboration, Wateen Telecom will implement a centralized wireless network across Bank of Khyber offices, providing employees and operations with secure, reliable, and high performance wireless connectivity.
