Previously relying on a SOAR solution and a traditional DNS security product, Askari Bank recognized the need for more advanced protection. “Legacy DNS security wasn’t built with a focus on security,” explained Jawad Khalid Mirza, Chief Information Security Officer at Askari Bank.

To address this challenge, Askari Bank implemented Infoblox Threat Defense in a test environment. The solution successfully thwarted simulated data exfiltration attempts, including techniques like DNS Messenger and fast-flux attacks.“Infoblox Threat Defense offers superior threat detection and intercepts attacks earlier in the process compared to other solutions,” said Mirza.
“Combined with its seamless integration with our existing SOAR platform, it provides a robust and comprehensive security posture.”

This includes Internet of Things (IoT) devices, applications, virtual machines, and network switches.
