Allied Bank joined forces with CNS Engineering Pakistan to develop a state-of-the-art Tier-III certified Data Center. This facility will serve as a disaster recovery site for the bank, bolstering its technological infrastructure and ensuring business continuity.
The agreement signing ceremony included representatives from both organizations. Mujahid Ali, Chief Technology & Digital Transformation Officer at Allied Bank, highlighted the significance of this project. He described it as a critical step towards deploying advanced digital infrastructure, emphasizing the role of data centers in modern business operations.
“This occasion not only highlights our formal partnership but also demonstrates the collaboration, ingenuity, and foresight driving the future of digital infrastructure. Data centers play a crucial role in enabling global communication, storage, and processing of vast amounts of data essential for businesses. We are committed to providing our customers with world-class banking services and solutions,” he stated.
Najam Mian, CEO of CNS Engineering, expressed his appreciation to Allied Bank’s management for their support in bringing this initiative to life.
The new Data Center will be housed in a dedicated IT facility, featuring a cutting-edge scalable modular design with one megawatt of power and capacity for 72 cabinets. Schneider Electric will provide the power supply, while Uptime Institute of USA will certify the design and construction to meet Tier-III standards.
This project positions Allied Bank at the forefront of data center technology within the banking sector, paving the way for future innovation.
